蔡英文近來多次在公開、不公開場合拉抬民主進步黨新竹市立委參選人柯建銘選情。不過，邱顯智仍堅定參選，他昨天邀柯建銘公開辯論、討論國會改革等議題，再視輿論看看是否有整合基礎。
蔡英文今天出席綠能科技創新產業政策發佈記者會，被問到邱顯智邀柯建銘辯論，該區如何整合？
她說，當然要尊重參選人的意見，也希望在整個競選過程中，參選人拿出政見想法，來爭取選民支持，有一些事情，大家坐下來冷靜地好好想一想，大家來溝通，讓選舉可以選得有意義、更理性。
媒體追問，柯建銘若同意的話，就會辦辯論嗎？
